I tried to make write my travel friend, to continue not to write on my own blog but my persuasion is not strong enough or she is too lazy (who knows). And I'll even dare to say that it is because of her that I am so behind on my blog, and that is not because of the fact that we have not really stopped! What a shock first, I leave Max'home after a well rest day and now I'm following ... I make a few detours to check this feeling, and here I am now convinced I actually followed! These are two girls and I decided to give them a name: Laura and Valentine ; I had the imagination that morning! And even if I am joined, I decided it was high time for me to join my friend Max, but this one has embarked the day before to Bali, and me with my anti aircraft position, I am a bit delayed. It is ok for the mission: find Max on Friday through Java Bali overland and visiting places which deserve to be visited. My band accepted the challenge and we are en route to the station (yes, the railway station) to catch a train (my first train trip from Spain) to Yogyakarta. It's not cheap, but it is not exorbitant especially seeing comfort. We had more space than in a french TGV, and cold because of the air conditioning.Jogjakarta, or Jogja for short, the heart of the artistic and intellectual heritage of the island of Java. The city is still managed by its Sultan, who still lives in his palace (Kraton). It is an ancient city and well separated, with a lot of tourists, but to my great happiness, especially Indonesian tourists. For us it is also the beginning of our adventure in Indonesia where we need to get us to understand and understand with our two Indonesian words.Visit Jogja and then you do not lose our speed and Borodbudur on hand to visit an ancient Buddhist temple, but not something for children, a kind of temple which requires: you'll see the photos.Wednesday night and we're back to Jogja for one last night before our final sprint to accomplish our mission. Up early to catch the train to Banuwangi this time we changed a source of information and found the cheapest train, third class. We have no air conditioning. Sellers of food, toys, magazines, drinks, music and other traders that are present and try to sell us everything and anything during our journey of 14 hours. The train is full of humble people and is much more interesting. We do not really understand when we speak but the smiles are benevolent. It gets off the train and bus dealer offers us a journey towards Denpasar, the main town of Bali. It rolls. What was not expected is that you really have no room for our knees (even me with my little meter 70), and the bus stops just before 2am to Denpasar and it's finished. I propose to Laura to discover the joys and benefits to finish the night in the bus station and after that relaxing sleep we are ready to join Max and his family. But even in advance. We have time to visit a Balinese temple before taking the road to Tanah Lot or we go with the whole troupe. The further adventures soon
